La FIA sumó una segunda zona de DRS en el Circuito Internacional de Corea para el Gran Premio de este año, después de la tendencia marcada a lo largo de la temporada 2013.
La primera zona se ubica entre las curvas 2 y 3, con un punto de detección colocado poco después del vértice de la segunda curva. La nueva área se establece en la recta de llegada, siguiendo una línea de detección situada después de la curva 15.
